I was born in Pretoria and lived in Wonderboom all of my childhood. I studied Tourism Management at the University of Pretoria, and when I graduated decided to go travelling. I ended up in London in 2001 and have since made my home in South East London.

Ek woon al vandat ek 6 jaar oud was in Pretoria-Noord, aan die voet van die Magaliesberg. Ek was hier in Laerskool Danie Malan en later in Hoërskool Pretoria-Noord. Ek verruil ons klimaat vir geen ander plek nie.
Ek het aan hierdie kant van die Magaliesberg gebly vandat ek drie jaar oud is. Toe ek klien was, was daar net mooi niks noord van die Wonderboom gebied. Montana het nie eers bestaan nie! Ons het een kafee in Braam Pretorius straat gehad, ʼn klein Pick 'n Pay in Sinoville Sentrum en verder niks.
I was born and raised in Pretoria and have lived in Theresa Park since we had our house built there in 1985. I am married to Theo and we have two grown sons. Life north of the Magaliesberg is fantastic, the climate is superb and I can only describe it as a 'world in one' kind of place.
