Best Thing About the Country?
Well as the local men say – bikinis 365 days a year
Biggest Cultural Difference?
It is very similar in many ways, but it sometimes feels that the Expats are always “reminded” that they are visitors. That, hurricanes and Turtle Soup!!
Top Things to Do or See?
Stingray city (swimming and snorkelling with them), diving and Seven Mile Beach

Bikinis 365 days a year!

Cayman is a very small island where expats (and locals alike) work hard and play hard too. There are amazing restaurants and cocktails bars that I religiously attend and sport is a big social part of life here too. Being close to both USA (40 mins flight to Miami) and South America, weekend travel to amazing places like Costa Rica, Cuba, Jamaica, etc are all possible!

Boats are a big part of life here too, so weekend activities usually involve either sailing, trips to Stingray City, booze cruises, sunset cruises, the list is endless. Weekend Diving is a done thing, as Cayman is well known for its very accessible shore dives. Amazing parrot fish, nurse sharks, angelfish, moray eels and other sealife to be seen.

I have battled to find work in Education here as I work in Special Needs and the Government is notoriously slow, but I live in hope that will happen soon.
