People in SA seem more laid back than here in the U.S where everything revolves around work ....I think South Africans know how to relax.
Biggest Cultural Difference?
The freedom from stressing about crime when you walk the streets or go out in the evenings. No burglar guards on windows!!! Many, many more bars
Top Things to Do or See?
New York City, Washington DC, California
Well, it started out as a 1 year study experience and turned into 8 years. The hardest thing about being here is being away from family and friends that are all still in SA. I miss rugby, cricket games and sausage rolls. There are stores in the U.S that sell SA food, but it’s not the same as waiting in line at King Pie!
