A-Plan Insurance

I want to insure my belongings, including a TV, clothes, camera and laptop. How do I do this?
You need to buy contents insurance. This protects your possessions against perils such as fire, flood and theft and cover can also be extended to include accidental damage. You may also include your furniture, cash, credit cards, frozen food and even business equipment.

Can I cover my possessions when I travel abroad?
Yes. If you pay for cover outside the home, this extends to anywhere in the world.

How much does it cost?
Prices start from £59 per year*.

What if I want to add items to the policy that I purchase during the year?
You contact us, we arrange the cover. If the item is over a certain value it may have to be specified (for example an expensive piece of jewellery).

I rent, what happens if I damage my landlord’s property?
Normally any damage would be paid for from your deposit, but A-Plan can offer a policy that includes cover for accidental damage to your landlord’s contents – invaluable for peace
of mind.

Why don’t I just go online and buy it?
When using the internet, assumptions are made about you and your circumstances. This means you could be left without cover, if the assumptions are incorrect.

Why should I call A-Plan?
Because we make insurance easy. We search our panel of insurers to find a policy providing the cover you need at a competitive price. Quite simply it all stacks up to a straightforward, hassle-free insurance solution.
