For the first year running and following days of intense judges' deliberation, the Radio Awards, of which there are 18 categories, will be announced at a prestigious function in Johannesburg on 15 May!

Having recently sponsored the South African Music Awards and also behind all things World Cup, it is no surprise that MTN is the sponsor behind the inaugural Radio Awards.

The awards will recognise the best breakfast show, best business show, best newsreader, best producer and the MTN Listener's Choice. Special awards include: best station on-air promotion and the young radio achiever of the year..
