Following the widely successful British and American versions of the Got Talent TV reality format, created and executively produced by showbiz mogul Simon Cowell, SABC 2 has confirmed they will be hosting a second season of the talent search contest SA’s Got Talent.

After a hugely successful debut in 2009, the second season will premiere on the local SA channel on 16 September 2010. Auditions took place around South Africa during July.

Comedian Rob Van Vuuren and the much loved 5fm DJ Anele Mdoda will host the show once again whilst Shado Twala, Randall Abrahams and Ian Von Memerty return  to ensure that South Africa really does have talent.

Contestants will be competiting for the top prize of R250,000 and a chance to emualte the success of first season winner Darren Rajbal, who beat 4,000 other hopefuls.
