In celebration of World Laughter Day on 2 May and in acknowledging the powerful tool that laughter is, in creating a more peaceful, loving and caring planet, a flash mob has been arranged in Cape Town on 2 May at 11:11am.

The meeting point is the V&A Waterfront, next to the amphitheatre where the mast with the flags is and the intent is for people to come stand around just after 11am and to talk with friends or look like a tourist, until 11:11am when the loud laugh will start! See video for instructions on what to do!

Flash mob definition: A flash mob is a group of strangers who organise themselves, using electronic media such as cell phones or the Internet, to gather together in a public place, behave in a predetermined manner for a predetermined amount of time, and then quickly disperse.

This will be Cape Town's first laughter flash mob and is proudly brought to you by The UP - sharing the healing power of JOY (www.up.givengain.org or call 083 300 2177)
