I, like many of you, was born in the 80s in sunny South Africa. Though my memories of this period grow dim I still enjoy the odd recollection. Well, it started out as a 1 year study experience and turned into 8 years. The hardest thing about being here is being away from family and friends that are all still in SA. I miss rugby, cricket games and sausage rolls. There are stores in the U.S that sell SA food, but it’s not the same as waiting in line at King Pie!
I don’t often take part in chain blog posts, but this one I quite enjoyed so what else could I do?
To set it straight to start with, I blog about South Africa. South Africa is in Africa and Africa is a moving, culturally rich and incredibly curious continent. So to begin, that is probably why I like to live in Africa and blog about a country within Africa.
