The multi-award winning SA afro-pop duo, Malaika, will start a mini tour of the States in March. Organised by a Texas entertainment company Metropark Productions, the three-city tour will see the top selling duo (Bongani Nchang and Matshediso Mholo) performing in Michigan, Texas and New York.

The US tour starts on the 12 March at the House of Blues in Dallas, Texas, before going to the Eagle Theatre in Detroit, Michigan on the 13 March and at SOBs in New York on the 14 March.

Their self-titled debut album in 2004 was multi-platinum, selling over 350,000 copies. They have since released three more albums -  Vuthelani (2005), Sekunjalo (2007) and Mmatswale (2009).
