The Vodacom Bulls virtually booked their place in the playoff rounds of the Vodacom Super 14 this year with a clinical late double strike to down the Sharks 27-19 at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.

With the victory – the 17th consecutive win at Loftus Versfeld – the Bulls moved up to 43 points on the log, five ahead of the Stormers and just two points away from assuring themselves of a home semifinal.

Like the game against the Lions, the Bulls struggled in the first half, but turned on the power in the second to record the win rather emphatically in the end.
