The Bulls got the job done but looked everything but the best side in the tournament as they beat the Western Force 28-15 in their Vodacom Super 14 match played at the ME Bank Stadium in Perth on Saturday.
The Bulls, in spite of dominating every phase of play, were shocked to be in arrears (10-12) at half time but took full advantage of a yellow card against Ryan Cross to finally batter the Western Australians into submission.
Although the Bulls failed to get the bonus point for four tries their victory left them five points clear at the top of the log with a 100 per cent record after Week Seven, effectively the halfway point, of the competition.
