The Vodacom Cheetahs restored some pride with a flawed, but fighting performance to draw 25-all with the Chiefs in Hamilton.

It was the first game that the Cheetahs haven’t lost in their history overseas, but the first win continued to elude them. Still, after a tour where they have been battered by injuries and other problems, the fightback to draw the game will be seen as a victory in Bloemfontein.

The team can now return home in good spirits, and will be more than a handful in their own stadium.
