Life to the limit on an island in SE Asia

Published Date
17 April 2010

South African Huena Solsona is the brainchild behind an idea to create a 'survivor style' challenge called Life 2 the Limit where for a month a group of ten live on an island in south east Asia with not much more than a 5 litre bag they could take with them.

There are five other South Africans on the challenge as well as three Canadians and a Norwegian. The South Africans are Jono Marcus, an Investec private banker, Dr Joe Starke who works for Doctors without Borders, Nick Bennet, a Cape Union Mart product specialist and writer, Angie Stanford, a Stellenbosch mom with a black belt in karate and Saul Kornick, a health industry entrepreneur.

Huena Solsona, whoestablished Adventure Bootcamp for Women in South Africa, is based on another island and comes to check on the group every three days where she also collects film and journal entries. Follow their daily updates on the website.
