The Bulls may have lost their last match on tour to the Reds, but they are still in the pound seats in the battle for home ground advantage in the Vodacom Super 14 semifinals.
While the Bulls return home this week for a sequence of three home matches before the appetising last league match against the Stormers in Cape Town, the other two teams that are part of the current log-jam at the top of the Super 14 log face a tougher run-in over the last month.
The Crusaders currently top the log on points difference. They have 34 log points, the same number as the Bulls, who picked up a crucial bonus point in their 19-12 defeat to the Reds in Brisbane to remain just ahead of the Stormers.
