Launching in February, Hammerheads Bar on Grand Cayman will be adding South Africa to it's ongoing ‘Around The World In 30 Days’ series of events.

Each month, Hammerheads host special nights designed and created to celebrate specific countries around the world. As there are literally tens of thousands of expats living on Grand Cayman, Damian Norman, owner of Cayman DJ's, and the company organising these events, is excited about the endless possibilities! So, on the 25th of February, it is South Africa's turn to shine.

Hammerheads is one of Grand Cayman's most well known and popular social spots, located right on the ocean, in Georgetown. It's a great meeting place for expats, locals and tourists alike, serving a wide range of beers from around the world. They also have a full lunch and dinner menu.

The South African night will be held on the last Thursday of every month, with 25 February being the first, starting at 8pm. Come along and raise your Castle Lagers in celebration of the country that introduced Charlize Theron to the world! Damian will be hosting the party, and providing the tunes, including some South African music.

Hammerheads is also planning a SA style braai, serving South African beers and hopefully selling koeksisters and potjiekos too! If anyone on Grand Cayman knows how to make either koeksisters or potjie and wishes to help out, please contact Damian! Feel free to send any suggestions or music requests as well as inviting other South Africans along to the event. The more South Africans the merrier!
