SA teams move into the zone

The two top South African teams did what they had to do by showing they have the ability to bounce back, and their victories have put them in the zone for what is going to be a tense final month of the Vodacom Super 14 league season.

By recovering from their defeat to the Blues by winning with a bonus point against the Chiefs, the Bulls regained top position on the log, while the Stormers retained their place in the top four with an impressive victory over the team that had so easily dispatched the Bulls the previous week.

Neither team was every challenged in either game, and both of them looked both dramatically improved on the previous week and like genuine Super 14 contenders. After all, the Blues don’t lose by 12 points at home every day, and the Chiefs were finalists last season
