It seems to be a crime-aware week – with a march against it and a movie about it – and for those who prefer not to think about such things, then comedy is the best remedy and next week London will see some of SA’s funniest!

1. Join a march against crime in central London

An awareness campaign against crime will take place on Saturday 15 May. Don’t just moan about the state of crime, walk about it!

2. For some cinematic insight into SA, check out the SA film season at BFI

As a South African film season launched on the South Bank in London this week, two films worth watching include Triomf – a South African tale of marginal madness, as well as a taut thriller called Crime – it’s a Way of Life.

3. Bafunny Bafunny – be there or be square

Taking place at the Royal Albert Hall on 20 May, eight of SA’s best comedians will be lined u in a football match scenario – complete with coach and captain. WIN tickets with SA PROMO Magazine by emailing competitions@sapromo.com.
