Described as South Africa's first zombie boeremusiek film, this visual keifness from Radio Kalahari Orkes v Jack Parow is set to make its rounds on the internet faster than the time it takes to pour a double brandy... The track is 'Blaas your vuvuzela' and is a collaboration in the spirit of the World Cup!
Singing about braais, brandy and vuvuzelas (with a fab zombie opening scene), 'Blaas your vuvuzela' is yet another smoking Jack Parow rap track complete with lots of hot bikini clad honeys and the Afrikaans musos Kalahari Orkes. Pappa Parow seems the ultimate braai master as he waves his gold-plated braai tongs and sings "Bring die hout ennie blitz, ek soek next level, terwyl ek braai doen ek splits, ek laat die steak lekker sizzle... Baby, sink vir pappa nog 'n dubbel!
Taking the traditional braai to the next level, these widlfire Jack Parow lyrics are just begging to be re-posted and quoted such as the classic opening line "Hallo baby, voor ek jou oopmond soen, se vir my, kan jy braaibroodjies maak?"
The song is off the third album, Heuningland, by Radio Kalahari Orkes who are a bunch of Afrikaans boere music makers as fronted by Ian Roberts who most will probably recognise from the Castrol TV ads in SA.
Get in the Jack Parow zone in London on 8 July at The Clapham Grand!
