Cape Town singer songwriter Auriol Hays is overseas for the first time, where she was the only South African who was invited to perform at the esteemed Montreaux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, taking place 2-17 July 2010.

Montreaux is the best known music festival in Switzerland and one of the most prestigious in Europe, annually in early July in Montreaux on the shores of Lake Geneva.

Auriol performed on 9 July, including tracks from her debut album Behind Closed Doors.
