A savage batting onslaught from Albie Morkel and a disciplined bowling performance saw South Africa to a 13-run win over New Zealand in their ICC World Twenty20 Super Eight match at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on Thursday.
Morkel smashed his way to 40 off a mere 18 balls as the Proteas posted a formidable 170 for four.
New Zealand could only muster 157 for seven in reply with three South Africa bowlers picking up two wickets.
