AH, THE EASTER HOLIDAY BREAK – the light at the end of a cold and rainy tunnel that we all look forward to. It is great for the fact that you can end up having a 10 day holiday and only need 4 days off work!! Hmm, now with 10 full days there is so much to do, both here in Europe and further afield. Since I bought www.gmwtravel.co.uk, I have noticed by the many different conversations I have had with people that they do not know how absolutely affordable a 7 night all inclusive hoiliday is.
Now, all inclusive means just that – you get your flights, accommodation, food and most importantly for us South Africans, all your drinks included in the price! Many different countries around Europe are now catering to this market. It really is a great way to pay for everything up front – you would not even need to take your wallet with you at all and still eat and drink until you can’t party anymore.
The Caribbean has always been dominant in this market, but countries like Turkey, Cyprus, Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt have worked out that it is the perfect holiday that we are all after. So the greatest thing to do is step out of your hotel room and walk down to the beach with no need to carry bulky wallets and always worry about keeping an eye on things – you simply either swim up to the bar in the pool, or walk over to the cocktail bar on the beach, and everything you could want would have been pre paid for in the all-inclusive rate.
If you have ever wanted to go away with a group of mates and have a place where you can braai every night and go partying after a couple of beers in the pool, then a villa holiday is what you want. You can have anything from four to twenty people in a villa with a private pool. It is all self catering so you can save a fortune by not having to eat out, and you can literally end up paying under £200 per person for the whole week including flights, and the only decision you need to make is what time to get in the pool and crack open your first drink! There are so many opportunities we have while we are here working to create our future memories with our friends, and it is so much more affordable than you think.
There are thousands of private villas all over Europe and the world as well as hundreds of all inclusive hotels. In my opinion, we all need holidays like these to remind us all of the reason why we are squashing onto crowded transport for a couple of hours a day!! The best thing to do is book early to secure availability and make sure you get the cheapest deals. Everything can be booked by emailing me on graeme@gmwtravel.co.uk or just check out and book on the website for your all inclusive deals. These deals can end up costing you less than £50 a day including your flights and all food, drinks and hotel, so it really is a fantastic and stress free holiday.
Apart from those longer breaks that we like to relax on, the Easter weekend is the perfect time for a city break, although it is more expensive to travel on that weekend. I have already written about exploring the Amalfi Coast, as well as the great weekends to Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Nice, Rome and Prague can be a great little break away from London.
