I feel it is important to set ourselves challenges in life.  To push our boundaries.  This is how we grow.  How we find out what we are capable of.  And when you push your boundaries you will be amazed at just what you are capable of.

Often when we push our boundaries fear surfaces.  While there are fears that protect us – like being scared of being too close to the edge of a cliff, there are also fears that surface that don’t serve us.  Like 'am I good enough' or the fear of failure or even stranger still the fear of success.  All fears that my clients have felt.

Many people fear the challenges in their lives.  Not because they are not able to cope with them, but rather that they think that they cannot cope with them.  Remember that the only physiological difference between excitement and anxiety in any given situation is what you picture the outcome to be.  i.e. A perceived bad outcome leads to anxiety and a good one to excitement.

What challenges are you facing at the moment?  What are you picturing in your head – failure or absolute success.  Seize this opportunity to face your challenge and grow.
