Ingredients:
- 6 large potatoes
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- oil
- large knob of butter
- 125 ml cream (slightly warmed to ensure it does not make lumps )
- extra milk if necessary
- 25 g fine biltong
- Chilli & Garlic spice to taste
- salt to taste
- extra 20 g fine biltong
- grated cheese 250 g
- parsley (optional)
Method:
- Peel potatoes, cut into pieces and cook until soft
- Fry the onion until golden colour
- Mash potatoes fine and add knob of butter and cream. Use extra milk if mixture is too stiff
- Mix potato mixture with fried onion, biltong 25 g, spices and salt to taste, mix well.
- Form small balls and place in baking dish
- Garnish with grated cheese, parsley and extra biltong
Just before serving add ground pepper, it is simply YUMMY!
