- 1 Cucumber – coarsely grated about 500ml
- 1 Tumbler cottage cheese (smooth or chunky)
- 1 Onion – grated
- 250ml Mayonnaise
- 1 Packet green jelly (Greengage or if not available, lemon)
- 250ml Boiling water
- Fresh dill (optional) sliced finely (when sliced about a tablespoon)
Add the cottage cheese, grated onion, dill and Mayonnaise to a mixing bowl, mix well then add the cucumber.
Pour mixture in your favourite mould or salad bowl and refrigerate for several hours.
