Ari Lennox, an American R&B singer recently had an interview with MacG on his Podcast and Chill podcast. Quite frankly, everyone is not very happy with how he went about asking one particular question.
MacG Interrogates Ari Lennox
As the interview commenced MacG continued to ask Ari Lennox about when she started writing songs to which she replied that her grandmother always told her that as early as four or five, she was writing. She continued to say that she’s not really sure how she could have written anything at that age.
But, things really went a bit left when MacG asked a personal question about her love life. While asking her about her music, MacG made reference to a song that referenced sexual relations. The manner in which he asked it left the singer taken aback.
“And where are we at right now, is someone f*cking you good right now?”.

Ari Handled The Question With Grace
Well certainly it shouldn’t be any of his business but he asked anyway. However, the singer handled the question gracefully and responded that he caught her “off guard: with the question. She also pointed out the way he asked her the question which she later realized was explicitly said in her song.
“Oh I did say that in the song didn’t I”
While the singer was caught off guard by MacG’s question, she certainly didn’t hesitate to attempt an answer for him as she replied that she’s “chilling” right now and not seeing anybody.
So, in favor of his podcast, MacG’s question may not be harmful to his career and it might just allow him to pop off as the lingo goes today. After asking Ari about her writing skills he proceeded to ask her if she considers herself a poet. Ari replied, “I don’t consider myself a philosophical writer. I am just a singer who writes.”
Just a while back Ari and Twitter users were mocking her for sharing her trip to Ghana. The singer opened up about how therapeutic it was to visit but received a lot of criticism for it. She subsequently removed those tweets after receiving negative responses to them.
