Back in the day, you’d watch a movie that was based on a movie – and judge one versus the other accordingly. Often, the entertainment aspect of the film would triumph over the intrigue of the page-turner, but in other cases the paperback would beat the movie easily in terms of sales and popularity. Nowadays, a similar battled between the original movie and the follow-up game exists.
Basic Instinct
Based on the Sharon Stone and Michael Douglas classic of yesteryear, this game is full of thrills and spills and you can bet your whole pay cheque, on Novibet or other, that there is a characteristic twist at the end.
Sharknado
The mission, of course, in a rather cheesy and predictable way, is to avoid getting eaten by the big mutant sea creature. Run for your life, virtually, and find yourself in a eat or be eaten sort of scenario. Collateral damage aplenty, indeed.
Rambo
Revenge is the name of the game here, as you have to rescue friends and family – just like the brutish and muscular John Rambo had to do during the movie franchise, which has been the subject of many spinoffs.
Planet of the Apes
Humans and primates clash, eventually partnering up for the good of all, in a battle of strength and mental tactics. Don’t get left behind in the jungle or the city, where coexistence is a tough challenge for all involved.
Jurassic World
The humans are back, again trying to cage up monsters that were mean to roam free – and certainly didn’t deserve genetic modification. Again, run for your life – or be snapped in half.
Bridesmaids
Perhaps the most realistic of the lot, a good friend is getting married and you have to get her to the alter safely. But first you must throw a great party – and negotiate the trials and tribulations along the way.
