The plan was to descend in front of her bedroom window singing a song and asking for her hand in marriage. Unfortunately the crane fell over and went into a neighbour’s house, twice as in a second time during an attempt to lift it and a bit of damage was caused to the house next to it.
The man was not hurt and luckily none of the neighbours was in the loft bedroom so all also safe and not hurt.
The happy engaged couple are reportedly in Paris, presumably avoiding a few angry phone calls.
The the Dutchman we give a 10/10 for originality , the sheer cost and effort.
