A friend of the late Princess Diana has revealed that she left her deal with Netflix after she learned that the last days of Princess Diana will not be represented in the best of ways or respected at all.

As a result, friends of the royal family have sought legal advice in light of this information. The royals themselves haven’t sought legal advice themselves but have been made aware of what they can do.
It is of particular concern as the series has been looked at more like a documentary than a fictional show and this is, therefore, a threat to the Royal family.
Netflix hasn’t commented on the new developments
While it is unknown how far Netflix will take its creative liberties the family could be getting Netflix into legal trouble.

As was evident in the fourth season, the Royal family hasn’t been portrayed in a good light when it comes to the portrayal of their treatment of Diana. So, it is understandable that the family has some fears about the new season.
