Educating on HIV
So, with all the information out there about HIV, how come people are still not heeding the advice given?
It might come as a surprise to still have individuals living with HIV and most times, these individuals didn’t really have a choice in where they are in their status today.
To live with this illness is anything but easy and it is not the way to go in surmising that someone was irresponsible with their health by being with multiple partners. With that being said, it is not any of our business as to how it came about but to figure out a way to make their lives better.
Better medication for a better life
As years have passed, many medications have been implemented to make the lives better of positive individuals, ending the common ‘end of the world’ assumption.
Today, many are able to live healthy and happy life regardless of their status. Thanks to antiretroviral medication available to positive individuals, many are able to give birth to HIV free children and protect their sexual partners at the same time.
Who said you have to live in isolation and sadness? It surely isn’t the end of the world when you find yourself in a situation such as this.
