Elizabeth Holmes has instigated quite the scandal after her life-changing invention. Some believed it wouldn’t work and they were right.

At 19-years-old, Elizabeth found herself to be a drop-out from Standford University and went ahead to be the founder of the company Theranos. Her invention was said to use blood tests to detect diseases such as cancer and diabetes.
When Holmes was interviewed and asked about her invention, Holmes seemed quite confused and it was very unusual according to the Dean that had lunch with her.

It is both surprising and shocking to know that someone has gone this long in deceiving people and misleading them with regard to their health status. This inevitably left many anxious about their health state.
When Elizabeth found herself in University, she had a bright idea that would change the world forever and boy did she convince everyone that it would. Many high-end individuals supported her idea and were very impressed by it.
According to Yahoo News, a word about the company’s fraudulent invention came to light through an article by the Wall Street Journal that claimed the Edison invention gave inaccurate results and relied on other devices by other companies to determine the results.
Up until the year 2014, Elizabeth Holmes was living the high life but as soon as allegations surfaced of fraudulent matters taking place. Her company ultimately came crumbling down after it was unable to operate for two years.
