According to a report released by police lieutenant Kay Makhubela the woman was with her 7-year-old-son to pick up her 12-year-old daughter from a Soweto school on Monday when the incident happened. “The daughter got into the car and as they got on the road, they were confronted by two men with guns. The mother was shot and thrown out of the car with her kids.”
She died on the scene while her children, who were unharmed, stood watching helplessly.
