IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS:
- Yellow level 2 for severe thunderstorms with heavy downpours leading to floods, damaging winds and large amounts of hail is expected to result in localised damages and disruptions in places over the central and eastern parts of the Eastern Cape Province, south-eastern parts of the Northern Cape and parts of the Free State Province except in the extreme north.
FIRE DANGER WARNINGS:
- Extreme high fire danger conditions expected over Kheis and Tsantsabane municipalities in the Northern Cape.

Gauteng:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers.

Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm but hot in the Lowveld, with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the extreme north-east.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Very hot in the Lowveld and Western Bushveld, otherwise partly cloudy and hot with isolated showers and thundershowers in the south.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated thundershowers but scattered in the extreme east.
Free State:
Temperature: Partly cloudy to cloudy and warm with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the north-west.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Fine and hot, but partly cloudy in the east with isolated afternoon thundershowers
Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm in the north, otherwise cloudy and cool with light rain and isolated showers along the south coast and adjacent interior, but clearing from the west from the afternoon.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly along the south coast, otherwise southerly, becoming strong north of Cape Point in the afternoon.

Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Temperature: Morning fog over the southern interior, otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain, but scattered along the coast and adjacent interior.
The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light north-easterly east of Algoa Bay early morning, otherwise moderate to fresh south-westerly.
The Eastern half – Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm in places over the interior, otherwise cloudy and cool with scattered showers and thundershowers.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light south-easterly in the south during the morning, otherwise moderate to fresh south-westerly, becoming strong from the afternoon.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot but very hot to extremely hot in the north-east. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected but scattered in the west.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly north of Durban, otherwise moderate southerly to south-westerly spreading to Cape St. Lucia by evening.
