Sassa grant payments will now be received much earlier than before. Following the cries of beneficiaries, Sassa has aimed to pay their grants earlier than they once had.
As shared earlier this year, the Sassa grant will be extended till March 2023. This is the social relief grant that will be extended to many struggling. Those who have lost their jobs or who are struggling to come by.
According to Times Live, the Sassa grants will be paid from the first of every month but if it falls on a weekend or a public holiday it will be paid on the next working day.
Getting your Sassa grant from the post office
Right now, the elderly grant will be paid first. This is followed by the disability grant and then the child grants will be paid.
Most importantly, if you’re receiving your grant from the post office, you should first await a text message. That is, says your grant has been paid. If you end up going without this confirmation, you will not receive your grant.
When to expect your grant to be paid out
Now, as usual, the dates on which every recipient receives their grant depend on the last three digits of their ID document. On the other hand, if you get your grant via your bank account, there aren’t any fixed days on when this is paid. But rest assured it will be paid.

So, the older person’s grant will be paid by the 4th of April 2022. This is followed by the disability grants to be paid on the 5th of April 2022 and the child grants to be paid on the 6th of April 2022.
