The Sharks thoroughly deserved their victory, as they dominated territory in the first half and then took control of the possession battle in the second. But they might feel they did not take enough advantage of the chances that came their way in the first half, at the end of which they held a slender 11-10 lead.
While the Sharks should be pleased with the momentum they have picked up, as after all winning the match is what rugby should be all about, they really needed a bonus point win to retain any kind of realistic chance of making it into the semi-finals.
