Stellenbosh Axe Murders

They have now found evidence that Henri Van Breda, the only survivor other than his sister, only called the emergency services four hours after the attack and his wounds was self inflicted as reported by the Sunday Times.

Their report says the attack was reported at 07:30 the 27th of January 2015 but the brutal attack had taken place 03:30 in the morning. It is also reported that the doctor who examined Henri Van Breda after the attack claimed the scratches and bruises on his arms were self-inflicted.

Marli Van Breda is awake and answering basic questions but its not clear if they have questioned her about the attack or anything else.

Al lot of information have been revealed including questions regarding Henri’s possible mental problems. This raises a lot of questions.

If Henri was a suspect and potential danger to his family why is he not under guard or arrested. If they are waiting to be able to speak to his sister does he not pose a danger to others around him? Or, is there more to the story than what we already know?

The voice recording of his call to emergency services was also leaked to the press earlier this week. Someone must have received a bribe or something as we always thought that would be a confidential conversation made only available to the police or the person who made the call.  As experts confirmed, his voice, calmness and response was nothing but normal for someone in shock.

So many questions surrounding this tragic event but you cannot help but hope he is innocent because Marli and Henri are the only surviving members.
