Putin’s sentiments with Ukraine
In President Putin’s view, Ukraine and Russia have some historical significance with one another, and since Ukraine has sought to form alliances with NATO as well as the European Union, he sees this as a threat to Russia and its government.
In addition to his sentiments, Putin also seems to think that Ukraine is part of a Nazi regime but the President of Ukraine has since debunked these claims by stating that his grandfather has died as a result of the Nazi so it would be impossible for him to be part of it. President Zelensky is also Jewish.
