FIRE DANGER WARNINGS:
- Extreme high fire danger conditions are expected over the central and western parts of the North West province, as well as the central of the Free State.
ADVISORIES:
- A yellow level 2 warning for disruptive rain leading to localised flooding of informal and formal settlements as well as disruption to traffic is expected over the coastal areas of the Garden Route District extending to the south coast of the Eastern Cape from Thursday into Friday morning.
Gauteng:
Temperature: Fine and cool but warm in the north.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Fine and cool, but warm in the Lowveld.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Fine and warm, but hot in the Lowveld and Western Bushveld.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Fine, windy and warm.
Free State:
Temperature: Fine, windy and cold to cool, but partly cloudy over the central parts, spreading to the eastern parts by the afternoon.
Northern Cape:
East temperature: Cold in the south, otherwise fine and cool, but cloudy to partly cloudy and cold to very cold over the southern high ground where light rain is possible from evening.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong northerly to north-westerly.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy to partly cloudy and cold to cool with rain over the west and central parts from the morning spreading to the east by the afternoon.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong north-westerly but light to moderate along the south coast in the morning, becoming moderate to fresh southerly to south easterly by the afternoon south of Cape Columbine, reaching strong between Yzerfontein and Cape Agulhas by the evening.

Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Temperature: Cloudy and cool to cold, with isolated rain and showers along the coast and adjacent interior, becoming partly cloudy over the interior in the afternoon.
The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh westerly to south-westerly.
The Eastern half – Temperature: Cloudy and cool to cold, with isolated rain and showers along the coast and adjacent interior, becoming partly cloudy with isolated thunderstorms over the interior in the afternoon.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south westerly.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Partly cloudy in the south where it will be cool, otherwise fine and warm. It will become partly cloudy in the east by afternoon with isolated evening showers in the south-east.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly but southerly to south-westerly in the south spreading to Cape St Lucia by evening.
