  1. Yellow Level 2 Warning for damaging winds resulting in difficulty in navigation at sea is expected between Cape Point and Plettenberg Bay.

Gauteng:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Low.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the south-east.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers.

Free State:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Partly cloudy in the east, otherwise fine and warm to hot but cool along the coast.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be strong southerly to south-easterly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm but hot over the west coast.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly to easterly becoming strong to gale force south of cape point late afternoon.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half – Temperature: Cloudy in the morning, otherwise fine and warm but cool along the coast becoming partly cloudy with isolated thunderstorms from the afternoon.

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong north-easterly.

The Eastern half – Temperature: Cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.

The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong north-easterly.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool but cold in the south-west. Scattered showers and thundershowers are expected, but isolated in the north-west.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be gentle north-westerly north of Richard’s Bay in the morning, otherwise moderate easterly to north-easterly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Low.
