Clad in a selection of colourful costumes - from a blue dinosaur to a pink rabbit and Spiderman too -Cape Town ska band Captain Stu have created a fun new video for their track 'The Day'. The video was released on 3 November 2010.

Directed by Richard Bolland, the video sees the band walking for the entire videowhile playing their instruments, covering ground of familiar spots in and around Cape Town. The new lead singer, James Klopper, adds vocal energy to the five piece group.

“22 hours of filming, 17 locations, 16 gigs of footage, 8 pieces of film equipment, 5 costumes, 3 security infringements and 1 awesome band = an awesome music video experience. Not only are Captain Stu creatively amazing at music, they sure know how to bring the vibe to any music video,” says Bolland.

The Day was written about the ‘good old times’ and missing the fun in one’s life. Captain Stu show that the fun is always there.
