Crème caramel with Lime, Mint and Strawberry Recipe

Ingredients;

  • 175g sugar
  • 10ml lime juice
  • 150ml whole milk
  • 275ml cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 5ml vanilla

Method;

  • Caramalise the sugar with the lime juice
  • Heat the milk and cream
  • Wisk the eggs in a bowl
  • Put 2/3 of the caramel into a souffle dish
  • Add the milk and cream to the rest of the caramel put back on the heat and melt the caramel in the cream
  • Slowly add the cream mix to the eggs
  • Pour in the souffle dish and put in a bain marie in the oven and bake for 1 1/4 hour at 150*c
  • When it comes out the oven cover with cling wrap and let cool in the fridge.

Turn out and serve with Strawberries
