INGREDIENTS
- 12 Large elder flowers heads open
- Sun flower oil
- 3 Eggs
- 3 Tablespoons sugar
- 1 Teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 Cup milk
- 1 Cup cake flower
- Cup water
- Icing sugar for sprinkle
METHOD
- Mix eggs, sugar and cinnamon
- Mix the flour, milk and water until it is a running batter
- Heat the oil in large pan
- Hold every flower at its stem en dip the whole flower in the batter and put in warm oil
- Let it fry for 2 minutes until golden brown
- Cut the stem off and place the flower in plate and sprinkle with icing sugar
- Serve warm with cream
Serves 4 people.
