Ingredients:
- 4 bananas
- 60 grams semi-sweet chocolate chips (or slab chocolate, break in squares.) I use chocolate with an almond filling and nuts.
- 60 grams miniature marshmallows
- Whipped cream (optional) or ice cream (optional)
- Aluminium Foil
Directions:
Have hot coals ready.
Using a sharp knife, make a slit along most of the length of the unpeeled banana skin and almost through the bananas.
Push chocolate chips and marshmallows into the slits; push the bananas closed.
Wrap each banana tightly in aluminium foil.
Place the banana packets on the grid and cook for 10 minutes, turning the packets after five minutes.
Remove from the grid.
Carefully open the banana packets and remove the cooked bananas from the aluminium foil. Note: You can serve in the aluminium foil.
Serve with either whipped cream or ice cream or maybe even a splash of Van der Hum Liqueur.
