Ingredients:
- 1 cup Mieliemeel (maize meal) 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- 2 eggs
- ¾ cup milk
- 1 tablespoon grated onion
- 1 bottle (750 ml) Cooking Oil
Heat the oil in a pan
Method:
- Sift dry ingredients together.
- Beat eggs and add milk.
- Stir in flour mixture.
- Add onion and mix well.
- Drop spoonfuls into hot oil and bake until brown. Be careful that the oil is not to hot to ensure that they are cooked. Repeat until all the dough has been used.
