EASY TO BAKE:
Method:
Wash a batch of sweet potatoes, roughly the same size, well. Spread baking dish with butter. Arrange on baking dish. Bake at 160 degrees in the oven until soft and syrupy.
ORANGE SWEET POTATOES:
Method:
Cook enough potatoes to fill a casserole. Remove the cooked sweet potato skins, cut into slices and place in baking dish.
Sauce:
125 ml sugar
25 ml butter
10 ml custard powder
Juice of 2 oranges
Zest of 2 oranges
Pinch of salt
Water
Method:
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Cook the sauce slightly and pour over the potatoes in the baking dish. Bake until thickened and sweet potato translucent look.
