Ingredients;
- 4 turkey shanks
- 1 onion
- 4 sprigs of thyme
- 200 ml chicken stock
- 200ml sweet chilli tomato chutney
- 200 ml white wine
- Braai salt
- Salt & pepper
- 200ml double cream
Method;
- Chop the onion and put in a roasting tray.
- Place the turkey on top of the onions and cover with wine and chicken stock
- Season with salt pepper and braai salt
- Cover with foil and roast in the oven for more or less 2 hours then take the foil off and add the chutney and put back n the oven for 30 min
