Jackson Mthembu was the former minister of the presidency. His untimely death shocked many, and today his widowed wife has sadly passed away.
Both Jackson Mthembu and Thembi are now deceased
Just a year after his death, Thembi Mthembu sadly lost her life due to an unknown illness. Her family made the announcement on Thursday, 14th of April.
In January last year, Jackson Mthembu sadly suffered complications when he contracted the coronavirus. Jackson would be laid to rest for over a year now.
Thembi’s cause of death is yet to be revealed
Right now, the cause of death is not yet clear. Her family relayed that the rest of them are yet to get together before they give any further details.
According to The Citizen, Thembi has been feeling unwell for a few weeks now. On Thursday, she was reported to have passed on at a hospital in Pretoria.
In 2014, Jackson Mthembu and his wife Thembi sadly lost one of their daughters to suicide. She was 25-years-old. Thus far, many have taken to social media to share their condolences with the family.

In the days before her death, Thembi worked as a nurse for years.
