There are a host of really trendy bars and clubs that kind of remind me of places back in Cape Town. I work as a pre-school assistant so my day consists of looking after kids between the age of 2 and 5. It’s hard work but loads of fun.
I have only started exploring the amazing countryside around here but have already found some beautiful spots. The views are breathtaking and we can sometimes have four seasons in one day. Aberdeen is known as the ‘granite city’ as like its namesake, most of the buildings are built with grey granite. It makes for an unusually pretty backdrop to the abundance of green.
