Not so much APOLOGY, OFFICIAL APOLOGY from them at the bottom.
You might know Derick Watts & The Sunday Blues from the awesome and amazing Car Guarding in the USA episode. This is where they went over to the USA and tested the reaction of Americans by being well, South African style car guards. Now this was something worth watching and sharing.
But this, “Stop the Knot” (better known as the Man Bun) episode is a load of rubbish. Where in South Africa will you ever be able to stop the car, jump out and cut a piece of a dude’s hair off and get to run to your car and quickly drive away. Seriously? This is South Africa dudes!
You see one of the following will happen;
- You will get shot, the guy will get up and “shoot you until you are dead”, seriously like “mors dood” (confirmed dead) or
- If he does not have a gun he is going to get up and BLIKSEM you (hit you very hard repeatedly) or
- If you do get away he will at the very least give the camera man a p… sorry, SNOT KLAP (Bitch slap).
It is with absolute certainty (and all South Africans will agree) that a South African will not just sit there and go “huh wat nou” (what now).
We like your stuff, we like originality and credit is always due for effort but PLEASE next time think this through. If you are going to make something don’t make something fake, think it through a bit. If you wanted us to believe you at least make it real. Stick to reality stuff that you actually do and don’t have to act up and come out with rubbish like this. Lekker man lekker!
AND NOW the not so much of an OFFICIAL APOLOGY hahaha, gotta love them for their sense of humour and ability to take a punch.
