ADVISORIES:

  1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over Nama Khoi and Kamiesberg municipalities of the Northern Cape.

Gauteng:

Temperature: Cloudy with showers and rain in the north, otherwise partly cloudy and cool.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers, but warm in the eastern Lowveld.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine and cool becoming partly cloudy in the south east.

Free State:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east, otherwise partly cloudy and cold to cool.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Fine and cool, but warm along the west coast.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northerly to north-westerly along the south coast until late afternoon, otherwise moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half – Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool.

The Western Half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly becoming easterly from the afternoon.

The Eastern half – Temperature: Cloudy and cold with isolated morning showers along the coast and adjacent interior.

The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light south westerly becoming light and variable by late afternoon.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered along the coast.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
