Severe Weather Alerts
IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS:
- Yellow Level 2 Warning for Rain leading to localized flooding can be expected in the City of Cape Town, Drakenstein, Stellenbosch and Theewaterskloof municipalities of the Western Cape.
- Yellow Level 2 Warning for Waves resulting in difficulty in navigation at sea between Cape Columbine and Cape Agulhas from Saturday afternoon spreading to Lamberts Bay and Plettenberg Bay by evening, subsiding from the west on Sunday.
- Yellow Level 2 Warning for Winds resulting in difficulty in navigation at sea between Cape Columbine and Cape Agulhas as well as localised damage to temporal structures and disruption on travel routes due to strong cross winds over the City of Cape Town and Overstrand municipalities of the Western Cape as well as the western and central parts of the Eastern Cape.
FIRE DANGER WARNINGS:
- Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the eastern, central parts of the Northern Cape, southern parts of Free State, northern interior of KwaZulu-Natal as well as the western and centralparts of the Eastern Cape.

Temperature: Fine and cool but warm in the Lowveld.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Partly cloudy in the north at first, otherwise fine and warm.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Fine and cool to warm.
Free State:
Temperature: Fine and cool.
Northern Cape:
East temperature: Cloudy with MORNING fog patches over the southern high-ground, otherwise fine and cool but warm in the north-west. It will
become foggy along the coastal areas by evening.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate north-westerly.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Fine over the eastern parts in the morning, otherwise cloudy to partly cloudy and cold to cool with isolated to scattered showers and rain but widespread over the Cape Peninsula.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong westerly to north-westerly, reaching gale force in the south-west in the morning.

Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Temperature: Fine and warm, becoming cloudy in the south-west with isolated evening showers and rain along the coast and
adjacent interior.
The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly.
The Eastern half – Temperature: Fine and cool.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot but cool in the south-west.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate northerly to north-easterly, freshning in the north by the afternoon. It will become moderate south-westerly south of Richards Bay
